The webcam requires Java to view. When the page is opened, you should see an icon with a coffee cup. It can take up to one minute for the image to appear, especially if you are on a slower internet connection.
If you do not see an image, please make sure you have Java installed. If you are running Mac OS X 10.2 or higher, you should have the necessary version. If you are running Windows or Linux, please download the most recent version of Java here.
Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) block any sort of non-stantdard ports for security reasons. The CritterCam uses port 81 to serve video. Please make sure that port is open. If your ISP blocks it, or will not open it, please let me know and I will try to pick a different port.
